Student services

Process

Goldenlink Academy offers a wide range of student services to support both the academic and personal needs of our students.
From academic guidance and tutoring to counseling and community involvement, our services are designed to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom. We aim to provide resources that foster a positive learning environment, helping each student feel supported and empowered as they work toward their academic goals. Our dedicated team is here to assist students every step of the way.
Academic support
We organize weekend trips to local universities and colleges, offering students insights into campus life, academics, and student culture. Transportation is arranged by the school.
Our team assists students with university and college applications, helping them select suitable programs and prepare their applications for institutions in Canada and abroad.
We provide individual and group tutoring sessions in core subjects like English, French, Mathematics, and Sciences. Sessions can be scheduled based on teacher recommendations or student requests.
Goldenlink Academy assists current and former students in requesting their Ontario Student Transcript (OST) for university or college applications and study permit extensions.

Personal and Social Support
We offer free and confidential counseling services to help students manage emotional and mental health challenges. Our counselors provide a secure environment for students to talk about their concerns.
We work closely with parents to support each student’s unique needs, keeping them informed about school activities, academic plans, and student progress. Consultations can be arranged to address any concerns parents may have.
We encourage students to participate in community service projects, helping them meet the 40-hour community involvement requirement for the OSSD. Projects include collaborations with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, WWF, and local libraries.
Student Life Support
We provide safe and reliable transportation for students in the Markham area. Pick-up and drop-off services can be arranged upon request to ensure convenience for students.
Our homestay program provides a safe and comfortable environment for international students, carefully managed by the school to ensure high-quality placements. Parents can rest assured that their children are living in secure homes, allowing students to focus on studies and smoothly transition to life in Canada.
All international students are required to have medical insurance while studying in Canada. We partner with an insurance agency to offer comprehensive coverage, ensuring students are protected from high healthcare costs during their stay.
We offer support with visa and study permit applications, providing the necessary documentation and guidance to help students meet immigration requirements. Our team can assist with visa extensions and other related needs.
