Comprehensive Academic Curriculum

At Goldenlink Academy, students in Grades 9-12 build the knowledge, confidence, and resilience needed to navigate an ever-changing world. Through a rigorous and well-rounded curriculum, they develop critical thinking, leadership skills, and a global perspective, ensuring they are fully prepared for post-secondary success and life beyond the classroom.


The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is a diploma granted to high school graduates in the province of Ontario. To complete the OSSD requirements, students are expected to:
4 credits in English (through grades 9-12)
3 credits in mathematics (at least one in grade 11 or 12)
2 credits in science
1 credit in French (as a second language)
1 credit in Canadian geography
1 credit in Canadian history
1 credit in physical education
0.5 credit in civics
0.5 credit in career studies
1 credit in English, or a third language, or social sciences and the humanities, or Canadian and world studies, or guidance and career education, or co-operative education
1 credit in health and physical education, or the arts, or business studies, or co-operative education
1 credit in science (grade 11 or 12), or technological education (grades 9-12), or co-operative education
Optional courses are selected during the course planning consultation from Goldenlink.
